Ground Ball-Screws

Ground ball screws are manufactured through a precision grinding process, which ensures tight tolerances and superior accuracy. This method results in a highly smooth surface and minimal deviation, making ground ball screws ideal for applications requiring high precision, such as CNC machining, semiconductor manufacturing, and aerospace equipment. They are commonly available in C0, C1, C2, and C3 accuracy grades, offering the highest level of precision. Because of their complexity in manufacturing, ground ball screws tend to be more expensive than rolled alternatives.


Rolled Ball-Screws

Rolled ball screws are produced through a thread rolling process, which is more cost-effective and faster than grinding. While they may not achieve the ultra-high precision of ground ball screws, rolled ball screws are suitable for many industrial applications, including general automation, medical devices, and transport systems. They are commonly available in C5, C7, and C10 accuracy grades
